Prior to starting her consulting practice, Valerie was the founding executive director of a small neighborhood grant-making organization. She is a member of the adjunct faculty for the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Certificate in Nonprofit Management program, where she teaches courses in nonprofit operations, strategic management and program design and evaluation and co-facilitates grant writing workshops. Valerie is the host of the Nonprofit “U” blog radio talk show and the Vice Chair for the Social Capital Committee of the Cook County Commission on Social Innovation. She has a master of management degree in finance and marketing from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Spelman College.

August 2, 2017- Session 4: Filing With the Secretary of State and Department of Employment Security Register now.
Review the registration and ongoing reporting requirements of the Secretary of State and Department of Employment Security.
